About me
Holly Hutchinson is a self-taught artist living in Athens, Georgia. She started drawing as a child but stopped in 2014 when she began college at the University of Georgia. It wasn’t until 2021 when Holly began working at the K.A. Artist Shop that she rediscovered her passion for art.
Since then, she has exhibited some of her work in the 47th & 49th Juried Exhibitions at the Lyndon House Arts Center in Athens, as well as the 2023 Southworks Exhibition and the Myth, Magic, and Mystery Exhibition at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation Center in Watkinsville.
Drawing inspiration from various tattoo artists, Holly’s work emphasizes fine details and precise linework using pen and ink. She focuses on subjects with organic shapes like plants, animals, and people. Her signature hatching shading style can be found in most of her work.
